Katherine Darmer, a Chapman University School of Law professor and pronounced activist for marriage equality, died this week after falling from a building in what was ruled a suicide. A memorial service will be held Saturday.
She graduated from Columbia University’s law school in 1989 and worked as a litigation associate and an assistant U.S. attorney, among other positions. Her legal writings including pieces about the aftermath of California’s Prop 8.
